I know this probably a long shot but was anyone of here involved in an accident junction A358/B3227 on 27th October at around 17.30.
The reason for my question is:
Today my daughter was contacted by her insurance company who, in turn had been contacted by the solicitor representing a cyclist who had been knocked off his/her bike (left hooked i gather) by a car that failed to stop.
The registration number he noted, is of my daughters car. As you can see we are in the north east of England near Newcastle. My daughter has never been to Somerset.
While im not particularly worried, as it is clearly a mistake. I would like to get things sorted out as quickly as possible. Although it is quite possible that another vehicle is carrying the same reg no.
What I do find strange however is the fact we have not been visited by the local police, after all this was a hit and run.
