Audax Club Mid Essex (ACME) have our inaugural 100km Winter Series starting on 5th Nov 10AM Witham.

Winter miles count double, right?

Well here's the perfect opportunity to get some regular winter miles in - the ACME 100k Winter Series. Four monthly rides beginning in November.

Essex 3Rs - http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/16-340/
Stansted Airport Express - http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/16-342/
Kelvedon Oyster - http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/17-245/
Knights Templar Compasses & Cross -http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/17-204/

Just look how many Essex roads you'll cover, and all conveniently timed to allow extended calendar event rides (ECE) if you are searching to get a longer distance in

There is a series badge and jersey flash to earn if you are so inclined  !

Perhaps we might see some fellow cycle chat riders there?

I have entered the Kelvedon Oyster (my first Audax) and the Knights Templar.

Anybody else doing these two?

Best wishes
Dean.

I'll be on my Dawes, probably still covered in mud from this puddle I found last weekend.

Apologies, just found it (and a new .gpx) on the AUK website. I've done a single page version to save weight:

So I hope those of you that managed to make Saturdays ride enjoyed the Oyster, we had great luck with the Sun being out and dry but cold day. We saw another huge turnout of around 90 riders!

Our club mate, Nik was on top of a hill approaching the first control at Pebmarsh snapping away so if you haven't seen the pictures yet, there here:

Hopefully see some more there!
