How about prehistoric and futuristic bikes?

Or manly and effeminate bikes?

Or, and hear me out, here's an idea - bikes and ebikes!

The problem with the term "ebike"

is that the media - and people in general - refer to 2 wheeled things with motors that would put a Suzuki 500 to shame using the same term

the more responsible part of the media is starting to get better

but it is all confused for the general "man in the street" by some machine being legal in other countries but not here

And politicians are no better, demanding that these high performance "ebikes" be banned.

Er, they already are.

Err - yes

but if you want politicians to stick to facts - and actually know the facts

Then that might be a bit of an ask

of course - if they really want to stop them, then they would have to give some money to your ex-employer to train and deploy some more coppers on the streets to catch them

which is a far more difficult proposition for them than talking about it

but I agree - when the media seem to be making an effort to stop calling my legal ebike the same thing as the 1000W totally illegal thing
and then a politician goes it
then is as rather annoying - t say the least

Bike and ebike.

but an ebike covers my legal version
and the ones I see whizzing around at 50 mph with a lad on it dressed in black and just sitting there twisting the throttle as he (probably) shoots up the wrong side of the road

and people seam that should be banned

my concern is simply that some future government will look to gain some votes by increasing the regualtion "to make our towns safe" and my bike will get caught in the fallout

when it will make zero difference that would not be made by enforcing the current rules
