What resolution is it recording in
im charging it up at the minute....i leave it on charge for around 3-4 hours like it said on the instructions for first charge.
Is that what i should do.
if i leave it on charge for too long, will it start to loose charge or not?
Also, should i leave the battery in the camera when not being used?

Photo mode won't eat battery like video will.. Likewise 4k video recording will use more battery and storage space than 1080p,/720p etc

Photos in 20MP, 5mp will look like it's been taken with a potato in comparison

i did a 60sec vid, and kept changing the resolution, but when i cam to play it, it was about 1 second, and the screen was green stripes everywhere.
Does anyone know what im doing wrong, or what settings to do for time lapse

Regarding the ops original question, do you really want something hard and square attached to your helmet? If you stack and go head first into the ground, that camera is gonna do one of three things.

1: Get squished into a billion plastic particles.
2: Get ripped off its mount and possibly go through a vent in the helmet.
3: Get pushed back through the helmet.

2 & 3 are things I'd be concerned about.
4. Or if stays intact act as pivot leading to potential worse injuries.
Handlebar mounted is by far the safest
