I once knew a guy who owned a Skoda in the '80s'.

He said it was the most comfortable car he'd ever owned; It had to be, with the amount of time sitting about in it, waiting for the AA to show up!

My Brooks 'mattress' saddle weighs 1kg (including the clamp). It's not even comfortable, you have to balance on the springy bit to stop the hard frame digging into you. I'm going to swap it with the saddle on my spare bike.

That doesn't surprise me. I had a Lancia Beta Coupe, which was a fantastic car, I loved it. But it was scrap value after 8 or 9 years.
I also had a Beta Monte Carlo which was superb, but that didn't last long either.
