I never knew that. It does make sense from a safety standpoint, brakes " failing " to the on position.

Yep you see it on Motorways where there are 2 dirty great big black lines on the road as an airline has failed and the trailer brakes have locked on, not as common as it used to be (stricter MOT checks on trailers) but still happens. Mate of mine has had it a couple of times (overnight trunking run) but not his worse incident............that was when he had a propshaft fail and fall off, luckily Pete had 'faulted' the unit only to be told by the mechanic "That's fine mate, they're all like that". The Police tried to 'do' him for driving an unsafe vehicle but because he'd fault reported it the blame was shifted to the company and specifically the mechanic who'd said it was OK, wrote off half a dozen cars that had hit this big lump of metal laying in the road..

It seems that Greepeace are/were surrounding Dogger Bank with large boulders essentially creating a conservation arena (prevents sea bottom trawling).

That essentially means installed wind turbines will do something quite similar. So yet another plus for green energy.

I have seen things showing that the areas around wind farms are becoming havens for sealife due to the lack of trawlers in teh area

in some cases boats go specifically to these areas with parties of hobby fishers as they get a far better haul with their rods

I've just found out that our local Greggs doesn't sell loaves of bread. I had assumed that they would as a Baker, but it's only sandwiches, cakes and pies. (I normally use our local Coop but they didn't have their normal morning delivery this time)

I get the impression that they are not a proper bakery
they just heat stuff up that comes in a van

My wife's favourite local bakery has a good line in proper loaves that look lovely (and I am not allowed to eat!!!)

I called at ours on a Saturday in order to get a fresh crusty loaf. The woman serving explained that bread is not baked there, it comes from a central depot.
And NO......they dont get a Saturday delivery so, no fresh baked bread.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Have you actually tried that or is it just an idea ?
It sounds nice.
It is what I do, and it is great!

I save money by buying Lidl or Aldi own brand, and then attack any taste issues by major modifications***!

*** I add a couple of chopped hot chillis, crushed garlic, curry powder, and mixed herbs. After that there is nothing left of the original taste!
