Pardon my ignorance, but is D for dunce ?

On my vitamin D. Don't know what else you could be thinking about. 😂🤪

It's a popular contraction of "d*ck", hence @Pblakeney's, and my amusement.

The current, more common popular contraction is Dememented. Can't say I ever saw it much used as all 3 stated. Not that it matters as I was explicitly using Vitamin D in the same D paragraph. As always, little things please ..... .

Interestingly, for older adults vit D deems to about matches the flu jab. At a younger age, the flu jab looks vital.

Have you seen the new Colgate advert for PURPLE toothpaste.......they claim it really works.
Well, the purple creates an instant optical illusion against yellow and it makes the yellow appear white (assuming you have yellowish teeth).
Sadly it only lasts a very short time.

It costs me over £15/month to go ad-free on Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube but it is worth every penny!
Not sure how brushing your teeth with a very bright orange gel helps.
Me, I just mute ads and use the time for other things.

Puzzle game procrastinator!

I think that nothing spoils a tense thriller more than suddenly being transported from a blood-stained dungeon to a bright kitchen where a ridiculously happy person is trying to convince me that spending triple the money will get my washing five times as clean! Muting the sound does make ads less annoying, but the dramatic flow is still shattered.

Funnily enough, someone was asking me about them last week. I haven't listened to a cassette for decades, or a CD for years. Streaming only for me now. My hearing isn't good enough to notice any audio quality differences unless the bitrate is stupidly low.

My CDs sound OK but the cassettes have deteriorated with age. The older they are the more muffled they are.

I bought a CD player last year so I could listen to music in the garage. It’s about 20 metres away from the house and I have to run an extension cord across to have power in it. Getting the tinterweb is a no.no.
