Adult Tricycle

Hello everyone! I'm new to the site and I'm reaching out for some information about a tricycle I just purchase and am looking to restore. The bike has no marking so I am at a loss on what to search for information. I was hoping by posting a few pictures someone could help me identify the make. Also I was told it has a "3 speed transmission" those are the sellers words. It has a cylindrical gear box with a short chain and a threaded piece coming out of it that you can pull on but nothing connecting to it. Any information would be great. Thank you for your time.

Gearbox will be a Sturmey Archer 3 speed box. You will need s lever and cable.

Not so sure about the single brake though, mine has 2, a back brake on the rear axle.

It's American judging by the cranks, chainguard and general demeanor. Could be a Huffy, Murray or from one of the catalogues like Sears Roebuck.

One of the members of https://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum will definitely know what it is. Have your serial number to hand when you approach them.

Ahh well i highly doubt that will be a sturmey archer hub then as referenced earlier. Maybe a sachs 3 speed hub?

Mickle had it right, not a UK manufacturer, with the cranks. Spiderweb came up with Columbia.
