devilish cunning, Mr. Thom! Although Aylesbury United babygrows are hard to find.
Perhaps a diy job - as it's Everton it maybe doesn't need to be that sophisticated to win out. Here's some inspiration:

The internet is great innit ?

Is that Duncan Ferguson for Everton?
The Fox's name escapes me - I think he's a German player, possibly? Anyone know?

Not quite sure why armchair fans of other teams are calling Everton crap. Liverpool are no longer a top 4 club, most of Man Utd fans don't live in Manchester, Man City fans have all come out the woodwork now some Sheikh has ploughed money into City, and possibly the same hypocritical fans who moaned when the same happened at Chelski.
Everton have no money, yet have finished in 6th-8th position consistently over the last 6-8 years, no prima donners, no player thinks they are bigger than the club, don't spit dummies out when subbed.
They are the most inform team in the league since January (losing 4 out of 20 games). Moyes has won the LMA Managers Award 3 times in his 10 year tenure. How many managers has City and Chelsea had over the last 10 years?
And Blackburn fans...take heart over your relegation, as knowing you have still won more Premiership titles than Liverpool

One day, once upon a time, when my Liverpool-born father-in-law was about six years old, he was upset about something. Touched by the sight of his tearful face, his much older brother gave him sixpence and said, "Here, take this and go and watch Everton - that'll really give you something to cry about."

He did, and remained a loyal Everton supporter for the rest of his life.

A tragic tale, I'm sure you'll agree.

all very true. I have nothing but respect for the club (and his dad supports them because they've employed a string of Nigerian players), but the boy will be a Londoner.

Then again.......I've just done a quick google maps exercise and it looks to me as if his home team will be...QPR. Hhhmmmmm....

If he's destined to be the sort of Everton supporter who won't wear red or who pretends to gag whenever Liverpool are mentioned, then it's all a bit sad.

These things happen, but there are worse things we can do to our children.

If the child still lives in Liverpool, it seems reasonable to me.

And even if the link to Liverpool is tenuous, at least it's cooler to go for a 'struggling' prem side than to have one of these "Where were you when you were shoot?" relationships with a club he/she wouldn't even look at if they weren't top ten.

A thought: Anyone not closely related to royalty might want to have a League One side they support by actuially attending matches and a higher-league side they have as their 'signature' team but rarely see play. On the rare occasions I get to see my favoured 'Prem' team, I see that the home support is made up of the moneyed and the mad while the away gang is made up only of the latter group. Gone are the days of my youth when I'd be sent to Stamford Bridge (not my team, but nearest stadium) on the tube to see Chelsea and pay at the gate with my pocket money.

How can today's yoof pay £44 or more pounds out of pocket money.... in addition to mandatory Red membership or similar?

Everton? He/she could do worse. Maybe.

Yup Duncan Disorderly himself showing the Germans who's in charge (Steffen Freund)

Edit - my knowledge of the Foxes doesn't run that deep, I just right clicked the picture and found the jpeg was called "duncanfergusonsteffenfreund.jpg" and the rest followed.

I was in La Manga during the famous Leicester "rape case" though - and I did see the lads out and about a bit that week.

The funniest thing was to see them "training" in the gym there - I used to go in every day and do some weights etc and the pro footballers were lounging about unsupervised with hangovers comparing stories.

I even got interviewed live by the BBC, excitingly.

Given me an idea for a TV program - Historical Match of the Day.
What with all these cut backs to the BBC it would be within their reach - could go on BBC4 and then get sold to the History Channel.
Nobody remembers what happened in the sixties so there'll still be suspense (if you think you remember them, you weren't there !).
England might have a chance of winning something too.

Old MOTD was rubbish though.

Cameras at one game - so you could end up with extended highlights of a 0-0 draw while there was no coverage of the 5-4 epic happening just down the road.

And another thing - Jimmy Hill

But you'd rework it massively, keeping only the commentary but edit it, massively if necessary and then get your various modern day pundits to do a job thereafter.
We can really see the great teams of the past and Everton fans can improve their self esteem.
