Anyone know of a free download for an adware removal tool?

Some kind soul has sent me AntiSpywareSuit - I'm not sure how it got by all the anti virus/adware/spyware stuff I have on this pc

The other one I use is Spybot

Both are free

Her indoors (who's considerably cleverer than me with PCs ) uses Windows Defender.

A bit OT but I think the death penalty should be brought back to deal with the scum that make this spy ware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got Windows Defender, AdAware, Spybot Search & Destroy and Trend Micro Anti-Spyware (only the latter wasn't freeware).

Always best to have at least two - they always find things that the other doesn't.

You do get paranoid about these things working in IT

And switch from Internet Explorer to one of the other browsers. It's IE's baggy security that lets most of that rubbish on in the first place.
