I'm 63 today and feel old :sad:
No worries, tomorrow you'll feel the same as you did yesterday.
Happy birthday btw :birthday:

I am 61 and today I have ridden 24 miles/1138ft to take my new bike back to the LBS for a minor adjustment. Had tea then rode 8 miles/600ft to teach morris dancing for two hours and then rode 8 miles/600ft back home. I am now so pumped up after the ride home that I can't sleep. So I guess I am 40 really :tongue:

I was on a Banana being towed at high speed off the north coast of Mallorca a week ago. Three old gits howling with laughter before being dumped into the sea within a few seconds of each other. We managed a cheery wave to our friends on the boat before Nemesis.

I was fast, long ago. More painful when you fall. If you're getting where you're going, speed is not as important as you age. I find speed fluctuates more with conditions more than age. @gavroche , I think, after considered study of this thread, and my vast experience of the world and of gerontology, I can make one very important recommendation;

You need a new bicycle.

Jannies dad is 84 and still rides most days and his motorbike at weekend. He rides Quick and long distances. Age has got nothing to do with anything. But the boom in Electric bikes in Denmark has led to a lot more pensioners getting out riding and that can only be a good thing.
