More armour for a 'dangerous' activity.

Not happy that this promo makes all cycle accident look like the fault of the rider. Not once did I see any suggestion that they were trying to prevent or protect from the main problem, drivers driving into cyclists!!!

Meh . Doesn’t protect collar bone , shoulder or wrists which I believe are the bones that get broken the most when cyclists fall off.

I have to say that looked shoot in the demo.

He was riding at very low speed and feigned a crash where he managed to get his leg and forearm equally slowly onto the ground before the vest finally popped.
I wouldn't trust that thing to offer any worthwhile protection in a real crash.

Does the cycling one require connecting to the bike like the motorcycle one seems to? That could result in some erroneous inflations - more than the notorious Hovding airbag collar.

There's a few interesting things in those videos:
· They put mats on the floor to cushion the tester's fall!
· The reporter mentions a burning smell from the explosive and the tester attempts to look casual as he opens a flap to let it cool down
· They actually did crash test dummy runs which I comment on at https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/the-cyclechat-helmet-debate-thread.187059/post-5495169 once it's approved.

Surely if car drivers want to run into people then or should be incumbent upon them to have airbags on the front kf their cars, not on us victims to have to buy them.

As usually, people forget the source of a problem entirely when trying to create a "solution" they can cash in on.
