We started 2 bottles of wine with our NYE meal and saw in the New Year with a bottle of fizz, we finished the wine and went to bed about 2am yesterday, last nighe we finished off the bottle of Baileys, 1 glass each, that is now it.

We saw the New Year in with a Feuerzangenbowle. A rum-soaked flaming sugar cone melts and drips into a bowl of mulled wine. You have to keep the cone topped up with rum as it melts. This requires rather a lot of rum.
