Just noticed on the back of the aldi special offers book that it's in store 2nd may followed by workshop tools on the 5th.

triffic, ours hasn't quite run out from last time, I got the last pack of spoke reflectors today and nearly treated myself to a softshell. Hope they have a maintenance stand this time

I don't know what they've got this year but in the past they've stocked a good-enough-for-starters tool kit for £30 (or was it cheaper?) and a decent maintenance stand, also for £30. Their cycling clothes brand ''Crane'' is good value for money though it's probably more pub raffle than Rapha.

It's a long shot but it might be worth popping into LiDL to see whether they have any left over. I was in there yesterday and they still had a few. £5.

If that question was directed at me then yes; the toolkit is passable and the work stand is great.

Both the work stand and toolkit are readily available from other sellers on eBay and amazon (and at the same prices) all year round.
