I have definately found this is true. However, I seem to get more idiots when I am driving than when I am cycling. It doesnt make sense in my mind.

I have a bright yellow car, and yet people still pull out on me. Often just not looking (and I really mean not looking, their head is facing away from me!). If they cannot see a bright yellow car heading towards them, then there is little hope for cyclists.
