I know someone that's flying long distance tonight, we were arguing when onboard they should celebrate NYE based on UK time so a few hours after they leave, or when they cross a timezone and it skips forward? 🤔

Depending on which way they're flying they may be chasing New Years Eve/New Years Day, or heading for it.

Heading for it, I'll ask em when they landed what happened.

If you have they're flight number, check on flightstats as to where they are.
They could get there just in time for it, or have had a few already.
