I've decided to cut down on the number of cups of coffee I have a day. I want a drink (no not that sort!!!), now but it's less than 2 hours since the last one. So what alternative drinks do you recommend. I've tried the occasional herbal drink in the past but they give me indigestion if I drink too many of them.

Tea or beer. Yep, that's the complete list of options

A cup of fresh mint tea or how about some decaffeinated Earl Grey tea, nice and refreshing and wont keep you awake at night.

Some interesting suggestions .... but in the end I succumbed and I'm now sipping that second cup of coffee, I will try to drink something for the next drink.

Squash I don't like - or at least the orange, lemon, blackcurrent ones, though I have got a mint cordial somewhere and I quite like elderflower. Lemon tea I do like .... too much, I was going through half a lemon a day when I last had a major fondness for it, and it gave me unpleasant side effects, but maybe I could allow myself one a day? And I do like Earl Grey and have some in the cupboard so maybe that's the next drink of the day.

There is something very comforting about the silky coffee drink, that I find hard to resist but as I say I think I have too many.

My fave squash is waitrose high juice pink grapefruit or Apple mango

I've tried peppermint tea in the past for a dodgy tummy, but I just find it repeats on me!

Try rooibos or Red Bush tea, it's a great alternative to regular tea with zero caffeine. Drink it hot or cold with milk or lemon and you can leave it in the pot for days and it will never stew. I recommend you make it strong.
I found it took very little getting used to and if you're dunking you wont notice the difference.
