I'm always amazed that people don't 'get' Harry Hill's comedic ability.
It's like saying you don't find Oliver Hardy funny: i.e. it's hard to find a comic so naturally funny. His mastery of delivery, mannerisms, movement, tiny eye/mouth/eyebrow/cheek nuances (I don't mean the gurning side glances to camera) and, of course, timing and ability to work the audience, are a masterclass in how to be funny.
I usually find that those who don't find him funny are those who need 'jokes' to find a comedian funny, or who are more concerned with WHAT's being said as opposed to HOW it is delivered, the latter being the marque of the greatest comic talents. His present currency is not founded on mediocrity......
Then again, some people don't even find Basil Brush (the original) funny: amazing but true.
