thanks @cyberknight
thing is those bikes in your pic look normal, just the weird bars which i guess don't look too bad a the tiny gearing which i can understand but the frame on the on one looks horrible to me!
Cheers Ed

The bars are the On One midgies.....not quite drops, but do put your hands in a good position.......seen a mountain bike set-up that way on my commute route, looked very good indeed

The rake on that head tube looks a bit too relaxed for my liking!
Perhaps wrongly, I think of rake as being the forward curve at the front of the forks, typically steel bikes. There they work a bit like wishbone springs and a lot of the deflection works like a bit of springy suspension but the head is spared most of the shock. On that bike, though, the angle is so pronounced that it must make the headset a real stress point on a bumpyish surface.

It looks like they have used up all of their spares bin to make one product.

Well, write it down boy ......
If I needed a beach bike, I'd get one, but I live nowhere near a beach.

I have midge bars on a bike of mine and can vouch they are very comfy, work well with DT levers. A mate has them with STIs and whilst he says they are comfy, they do look odd with STIs.

No harm to On One for pushing the limits but with that chopper-like fork rake I'd be worried about the front wheel actually flopping to one side or the other if I took my hands off the bars.
