Possibly - he does seem to be playing very well. I think he would have beaten Nadal anyway had the match gone to full duration.

If I were a gambling man I would back him to win on Thursday but lose to Federer in the final.

Yes, Fed looks to be in great form. I do think Andy is playing some of the best tennis he's ever done though - this might be a real chance for him. He can beat Fed on the right day. If he can get to the final, anything can happen.

Andy is a great player ... but Federer is like Bjorn Borg ... nobody else (except Nadal, when he's not injured) is going to win until he retires!
