I'm not sure why but I utterly dislike the Wiggins Skoda advert.Plus most other car adverts also.

I just find it funny. If he's taking his bike home he's going to have to stop soon and turn back, as he's going towards the dead end of the Derwent Reservoir service road.

I used to like 1970s cinema ads:

"Just five minutes walk from this cinema is [massive audio click, followed by wobbly text apparently made from cut out letters filmed with super 8] The Prince of India restaurant".

At this point, you couldn't make out the restaurant because it was stock film of somewhere else and so old and full of scratches and imperfections that noise streamed down the screen like code from The Matrix.

The (late) Smith & Jones once did a great spoof on these, replete with film scratches, dodgy crackly audio and dressed in 70's flares.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
The ad in which an astronaut doing a space walk talks to his mobile and asks it to take a photo. There is no atmosphere in space, so sound can't travel.

And "Gio Compario" doesn't quite have the top notes for his final high bit in the current Go Compare ad (the one in which he wingwalks).

Oh yes....and the BBC adverts really grip my. ......
Yes, BBC do advertise, their own programmes if course, so every workday morning if I don't (wont) watch BBC1 news because that overatriculated gobs hite Aaron Hesselhurst is on...if I swap to BBC2 all they show, every morning at the same time, week after week...are the same teasers for series they have got going, that or an advert for BBC weatherwatch or similar. Mind numbing and pointless.

Anything by the banks....making themselves out to be everybody's friend and "on your side"....bunch of lying, conniving, scheming, devious, untrustworthy, two faced, money-grubbing shites, every one of 'em.
Don't mince your words, say what you mean!

All the cosmetics adverts that use pseudo-scientific babble to describe the products components and the miraculous effects that their products produce. And eg 'endorsed by 63 people out of 70' whose life obviously accelerated on an upward trajectory after slapping the product on for a few days. Claptrap of the first order.
