I thought adds were what the mute button was made for.
Lynx. I've been using it for decades and never pulled.
I recall sitting in the lobby of a hotel whilst on holiday 10 years ago waiting to be picked up for a trip. I picked up a magazine and came across an advert '10 reasons to buy a Mac'. Finding myself agreeing with most points I did some research and 10 years later am, almost, exclusively Apple in terms of phone, tablets, laptop and desktop computers. So that one advert proved successful for someone.Apparently TV adverts earns on average £300 a year per consumer that is exposed to them.
No doubt we will be inundated with posts who don’t really understand advertising telling us they buy what they want, not what they’re told to. Whereas all successful advertising on TV is about brand awareness.
Nobody buys fairy liquid because of an advert. What they do however, is become more likely to notice it on a supermarket shelf/website amongst its competitors. And the consumer will quite often think the 'bigger' brands that cost a bit more are likely to be better than the budget alternatives.I recall sitting in the lobby of a hotel whilst on holiday 10 years ago waiting to be picked up for a trip. I've just thought of one that really annoys me. The army one with the lad who "grew up in Carlisle". Very good pal, your accent is more all over the place than Russel Crowe in Robin Hood.
