He doesn't wear a helmet,

Ok, Accy, he should not be riding a fast(ish) scooter on the pavement, but would he annoy you any less if he was wearing a helmet, had plates and was on the road?
The noise would be the same!

IIRC these are actually "illegal" in most cases

They are classified as "Motor bikes" and the requirements for lights, helmet etc to ride them along with VED, Insurance and a license

In that sense it is a genuine criticism, and also the key to getting the nuisance removed

The Police around here have a low tolerance for these and regularly confiscate them on the no insurance grounds

I think the reason why there is so much antisocial going on is due to people not complaining enough. Some brits, great at moaning poor at complaining, same for poor service in shops etc.

We get lots of scrotes around here on items of what could be very loosely described as mopeds/motorbikes
The kind of thing that 95 - 99% of the population would be ashamed to take to a scrapyard, & admit it was theirs

Before, the seemingly blanket ban on Police following bikes, there had been one particular lad (I have as much idea who he is now, as I had then) who had been a persistant annoyance
Riding through the cemetary (even when burials were taking place), cutting through the pedestrianised high-street, past junior Schools at 15:30 (probably not out of his pit, at 08:30, for the kids going in)

I didn't see this, but heard about it later
Apparantly, he'd been spotted, & a local Response unit had tailed to stop him, as he'd shaken them off down the backs of houses
Somewhere, a Control Room supervisor had decided to get two of the local bikes involved
(Wakefield Police have a few trail-bikes, for patrolling various remote areas/footpaths/bridleways, woods, etc.....)

He had a slight lead, but tried to use a usual route.... cutting through the cemetary gates
Normally he'd easily fit through the single gate in use at that access point, as he'd be a bit slower (& presumably thinking that the Police bikes had wider bars?)
But.... as he found out, an increase in speed didn't match his (own perceived level of) skill

Cue one large bang, a heap of scrap tangled around an 18" square stone pillar:laugh::laugh:
One scrote flung 10 feet, & screaming in agony, due to whatever wounds he so well deserved

I know the Paramedics who scraped him up, & have been told there were several local residents, (& a few Police officers) who watched, with broad smiles as one blight on their lives was taken away whimpering

Email the Department of Homeland Security, and tell them that he's a cousin of Bin Laden in training, then sit back and watch the Tomahawks rain in.

Can this be seen??

I grew up near an army training woods in the Hampshire / Surrey / Berkshire border. I was lulled to sleep by the sound of stolen motorbikes, gunfire and the Broadmoor siren.

I've found this. https://www.lancashire.police.uk/help-advice/safer-communities/anti-social-behaviour/ I thought you might've been able to e-mail them though.
You can phone

Or perhaps you can email your local community safety officer or whatever they are called (you can in Sutton)
