Are you allowed to read? When my kids were small, i used to work 2 overnights a week in a bank call centre. Late at night it was very quiet - maybe 2 - 3 calls in an hour. I read Darwin's Origin of Species, the woman next to me was doing an OU physics degree in secret as her husband didn't believe women should be educated (hope she eventually left him, the pig) and another woman specialised in going on quiz shows and entering competitions so spent all her time swotting up general knowledge.
I could write a Kay Mellor style play!

I used to read a good book on the graveyard shifts as well, plus a bit of jobhunting. As you say Sunday night is the graveyard shift (used to do the odd late then when I worked for the YHA). Plus I'd look at my maps of the local area and plan walks/rides, which actually was work related as guests would always ask me about that sort of stuff.
