In the near future I'm going to replace my cassette and chain due to wear. I'm currently running a Shimano 105 10 speed and have seen this BBB product (here). Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it as good as a 105 cassette?

Also on the same website there is a red 10 speed chain, would this be considered gauche on a red bike?? Also do I need to worry about the chain length overly, I have a 11/25 cassette.

Mart, why you not wanting the 105 cassette which is about the same price?

And ooh I want a Blue chain

The chain will be covered in merde after about a couple of weeks, bigMat. If it stays clean on your bike then it will look odd!

I used BBB on my 9 speed Campag, and regularly broke the only cog I used to commute! Got a s/s now.

Because Wiggle were quoting me £48 for the 105 cassette. As they are roughly the same price on Parker Int I think I'll stick with what I know and get the 105.

I thought the blue chain might appeal....

The 105 specifies a HG chain and the coloured chain doesn't mention hyperglide, does this matter?
