Does that mean he had no mirrors or not the correct type...I cant believe he will get a slap on the wrists if he was driving with NO Mirrors

I would interpret the wording to mean that he did not have all of the legally required mirrors. I cannot believe that the vehicle would operate without any external mirrors.

Simon Weatherley, 52, of Hope Park in Bromley, Kent, appeared in court in August accused of using a goods vehicle without the obligatory mirrors.
He now faces a charge of causing death by dangerous driving and is next due at Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 12.
