Define irony and then go at your reply to my first post.

I didn't reply to your first post.
What are you wittering on about?

Your one of the 70% I was going on about earlier as you have completely missed the point.
You haven't bothered to make a point, so there's nothing to miss.

Besides, I don't recall sending you the results of my IQ test, so can you explain how you compared this to the IQ of an ant - and in fact you'd better explain how you managed to test an ant's IQ in the first place.

PS - you meant to put "you're" not "your" - idiot.

Haha. I try and turn this into a sensible debate and get called a dick.

Just try and think for one second if that is not to hard of course. I suggested that there maybe other reasons that people RLJ, because if you don't know the reason then how are you supposed to give a reasoned answer?

I was merely suggestive in my first post hoping that someone could elaborate - oh how I was wrong. I'd say around 70% of people that post in commuting have the IQ of an ant and looking at some of the posts I'd say this is about correct.

Lee, had you not considered that possibly people aren't getting your obtuse 'points', not because they were of lesser intelligence to yourself, but because you were making them very badly indeed?

If smacks of a very weak argument indeed to insult your respondees for not getting your argument, when the responsibility falls upon yourself to make your argument understood.

To be honest I think this is all irrelevant anyway. I think you just enjoy winding people up, and that's far sadder than any of your erroneous arguments.

I'm always willing to help. However, any post that used "RLJ" as a verb wouldn't make the cut.

Neither would any post that contained "it's" when it wasn't being used as a contraction of "it is".

Touché!

(see, Lee - that's how a witty and erudite comeback works)

My point is that most cyclists harp on about how cyclists who RLJ don't do us any other favours with other motorists, but I think it does not matter at all as shown by Mr WVM. Do you think his attitude would change towards cyclists if no cyclist broke the law? I doubt it.

As for the ant part it was a metaphor. Your failure to grasp this along with having no sense of humour shows that if you are thankful you have hands and feet (which allow you to count to 20).
You're the one missing the point. It's got nothing to do with whether it would have changed that drivers attitude (although it can't hurt, taking away one of the arguments used to criticise cyclists). The point is that we cannot criticise motorists for ignoring traffic law if we do the same ourselves.

And I know perfectly well that you were using a metaphor. And I do have a sense of humour - I find you hilarious.

Here are just three posts, easily found, where Lee has criticised drivers for not complying with the law.

I disagree, if this would have been a simple mistake that escalated into what the OP did, then yeah the OP was out of order. But driving like that on purpose deserves to be 'dealt' with one way or the other. Maybe now the self-gratification artist of a driver will think twice before pulling a stunt like that despite knowing **** all about the law and riding on the pavement.

I think Lee needs to buy two copies of "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie and read 'em both. Sometimes I could do with a bit of that myself, mind. ;)

Try again, Don't confuse with advice with what the HC says and the RTA act. (Don't make me go all Mr Blobby on you)
Nice backtracking there.

So when you say "Maybe now the self-gratification artist of a driver will think twice before pulling a stunt like that despite knowing **** all about the law" you're now saying that you weren't criticising the driver for not complying with the law? You're such a moron.

Also:

Any abuse you get (from me at least) is in response to abuse that you have dished out, and in response to the drivel that leaks from your brain onto your keyboard.

Oh do give over, you are sounding all melodramatic which is what you have accused quite a few others of being in the past. You know you enjoy a good trolling and it is often difficult to know which side of the line you are posting from.

But remember, Helmets save lives wibble

Grow up! Pots and kettles Lee. You seem quite happy to abuse everyone else, but don't like it when you get some back. You're actually the only person on this forum that I've ended up insulting. That should tell you something.
