Looking at these for the MTB winter hack:

All Tarmac, with a bit of towpath training\breakfast earning at the weekend when it's wet ;-)
Anyone used or got an opinion or better suggestion for ~£25 a pair?
P.s. 1.5" width is attractive

Ive got those on my trek 830 commuter and they are quite light and fast rolling and grippy but puncture resistance isnt that brill considering they are schwalbe but all round a good fairly priced tyre.

Update - fitted and tested, good tyres so far :-) good in the wet (straight out the bag!) and soooooooo much quicker on tarmac 10/10 ATM!
