I went to the doctor with a suspicious looking mole.

The doctor said they all look like that and I should have left it in the garden.

That is outstanding, made my day.

True story.

I was at work one day, and very busy, so didn’t notice the escalating emails come into my inbox till late in the day.

From the email it was obvious a wife and her husband had had a big argument before he left for work. Husband and I had a similar email address but there was a dot in mine and not in his. Wife had been emailing the wrong address all day.

Email 1: wife apologies for the argument and checks everything is ok between them.
Email 2: wife is miffed at not getting a response.
Email 3: wife retracts apology and calls husband all sorts of name for ignoring her.
Email 4: wife now extremely angry with husband and demanding immediate response.
Email 5: wife now threatening all sorts of physical violence to husband.
Email 6: wife now threatening to travel to her parents to stay and filling for divorce.

It was at that point I saw them and replied that she’d got the wrong address and hoped everyone was safe!

Email 7: wife email me thanking me for letting her know and that I’d saved her husband, who was due home in a few minutes, “from a good thrashing”.

Sounded her much like a blissful marriage!

That reminds me of half an hour's worth of messages on my Ansafone from a wrong number ranting "pick the phone up, I know you're there".
