Can anyone give me their opinions on this:
Have a look at Planet X or Focus from wiggle - you can get a carbon bike for around this price.
IMO the colour scheme is fugly and the spec (on paper) looks rather disapointing. Haven't got a clue what they're actually like to ride though (which is arguably the most important bit!)
It looks like a Trek to me but I can think of the name of the bike at the mo!
Ultegra and 105 seems pretty decent kit to me. I can't see anything wrong with it myself. If you're happy with the colour and a double not a triple, go for it.
I have to say i don't know very much about bikes, however, i presume a triple gives you a few extra gears which can come in handy for tackling hills. The other bike i've been looking at is:
But at £1000 on an Al bike I would be expecting better than an 2007 mostly 105 groupset.
For example the Planet-x is roughly £1000 and thats mostly Dura-ace
get a triple, you'll do yourself in without one.
Dead right there.
All those teenage suicides in Brigend over the last twelve months were found to have bought bikes with double chainsets. Perhaps it is time the government banned them.
bonj, Don't be gay, no one other than my mum needs a triple, oh, and Gezza
the same as riding a Trek, but with different stickers on it
I'm on a double and would happily get by on a single for my commute
Listen, my chainset doesn't even have teeth, just smooth metal rings.
I get by ok.
Separate names with a comma.
