Chill folks. Top Gear designed to entertain and infuriate. You are all confirming that the program has met its brief.
Who would throw themselves on the floor to stage a crash? You just know it's going to hurt. Hammond is a regular cyclist too so would he actually be capable of making himself potentially wreck the bike. I couldn't bring myself to do it, even if it wasn't mine.I doubt the crash was staged,

I'd have thought they'd have a spare bike or be able to fix the bike e.g. in case of a puncture. I'm not sure whether fixing the rear derailleur would be practical though. They certainly got the camera boom fixed onto the spontaneous replacement bike in double quick time!
I now wished they'd done that!Shorten the chain and make it single speed.
The connection being that Noel Edmonds was once a presenter on Top Gear.I'm amazed people still watch it, it was ok 7 years ago, but it has been rolling out the same carp even since.
A bit like deal or no deal, once you've watched it a couple if times there is no need to ever watch it again.

It's as spontaneous and predictable as Vern's reaction to a flan.
Actually I was surprised to find out from this thread that it's still going.Chill folks. Top Gear designed to entertain and infuriate. You are all confirming that the program has met its brief.
