Anyone bought cycling clothes from AliExpress

I am giving my son my jersey and jacket the Gerolstiener team one,so i thought i might buy a gilet from AE it is the Caisse DEspagne team its only 14-50ish,is it a good company.

Not cycling related but my son often buys hos fishing gear off AE, he's had no problem with quality or delivery.
Some stuff he buys (rods and reels) are exactly what's being sold on various online platforms..so ultimately, the source appears to be the same...youre just cutting out middlemen.

I have bought loads of stuff from AliExpress including clothes, and my advice would be to check the Chinertown forum and specifically this thread https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,3121.0.html.
There is loads of good stuff, alongside duff - so forums like Chinertown are vital to sort the wheat from the chaff. ,

I'm wary of AliExpress. I ordered something from that site once, then got bombarded with email spam like you wouldn't believe, and didn't have any success unsubscribing from it. I had to block their address in my spam filter.

Yep, jerseys, socks and bib shorts from the YKYW Shop on Ali Express, brilliant quality stuff, no issues what so ever!

YKYW are definitely one of the brands I would recommend.
I have a few things from them:
- The basic (c£15) bibshorts. Not sure I would want to ride a century on them but outrageously good for the price. Very light and airy fabric that is ideal for the turbo.
- The aero shoe covers. Cost c£12 and do as good a job as way more expensive options from the likes of Rule28, NoPinz etc. If money no object serious time trialler, then maybe you are conceding a watt or two, for a bang average club rider they are ideal
- The aero arm warmers. I have not seen anyone make anything like this, but so simple, cheap (c£7 ) and blend in really well with an aero jersey

I have heard good things about their jerseys too, but haven't bought one yet (as have a glut of good jerseys already).

What is YKYW and did anyone pay extra fees like Royal mail handling fees on top.the item i was looking at is on a site BICYCLING CLUB STORE and it about £12-50 a gilet of a jersey i already have.I like the positive postings thank you.

Found YKYW and they have the very same gilet.So are there any extra fees to pay once i have paid for the item.

I buy loads of stuff from Aliexpress and the only time I've paid extra fees and duties is on a pair of wheels from Elitewheels and that was paid through them. In the very few instances I've had cause to complain I've always been quickly refunded.
Recently bought a Rsantce gilet and didn't pay shipping as it was part of a Choice purchase with other things which totalled over £8 so P&P was free.
