I dabbled with bonsai kittens once but I think it was frowned upon...

I did many years ago. I started with easy trees like Chinese privet. Loved it. What have you got?

I read a book on it once. Does that count?

I think #1 daughter has borrowed said book but I haven't seen any product.

Koi and now bonsai. Just tell us you do karate or judo and you could have The Vapours as your theme music band ^_^

My tree, Chinese Elm, died this week. Lack of water I think; it went dormant in winter, so I watered as needed around every 2 weeks it seemed, now it needs watering every day and I have been neglectful (I do have 15 house plants all alive and tended to!)

That said, I have never been overly happy with it's appearance and I received it with barely any branches/leaves. I shouldn't admit I have only had it since May 2016, so I've effectively killed it in just over 1 year.
