Anyone else spent ages waiting for "hot weather"to ride in then find it's too hot?

My main moan about the forces was the constant moving around of units every 2 years. That must have been horrendous for children's schooling? Absolutely horrendous. And completely unnecessary. It is almost as if they did it out of spite. I think I spent 8 years in the same barracks in Aldershot apart from a tour in Germany. If they could do it then they could have done it afterwards.
