Depending on the weather on the day, I'd be on for joining you on at least part of it coming into Brum (though perhaps a little less so if you're planning on blatting up the A3400 and A34!). @kimble's route to the Rollright Stones might work in reverse from Banbury.

No worries - If you plot a route out towards Bicester I can meet up Chesham/Aylesbury zone, then we can head up to Banbury, then up as per McWobble's suggestion.

My HS2 route we did earlier this year would work - head north-west, Ruislip, Harefield, Great Missenden, then west of Aylesbury and back roads all the way to Banbury. Route shown here.
