Anyone live in Northwich?

As the title says, how bad are the roads in Northwich? During the week I work in Warrington but stay in Northwich. I know I'll be able to get to the office as it's by the motorway but won't come up if I can't get into Northwich.

Can anyone oblige with a weather report?!

Dunno about Northwich - but the main roads in South Cheshire (18 miles from Northwich) are ok and mostly clear with under 1" (one inch) of frozen snow on the side roads. Only fog given for tonight so you should be ok.

sorry if that's bad news Ian - can change it to 4' snow drifts if you want!

That'll be freezing fog tho' won't it? The very devil to keep off the windscreen.......... Or are you planning to pedal?

I live in Warrington and the main roads are not bad and the A49 not bad thats about all I can tell you .

It's not so much the forecast, it was more what the side roads are like. I pull out onto some very small roads so was interested how much snow there had been.

Looks like I'll make the trip up on Tuesday as usual.
