Just read an item about the incredible rising value/cost of beach huts.
Some on the south coast are £50K+ and rising every year.
To my knowledge they don't have power or WCs.
As one owner said "its a glorified shed".
The idea seems good but £50k:eek:

My in-laws had one at Calshot, it was very nice with running water and it was the only one on the beach with a flush loo as they did a deal with the cafe owner at the back to connect to their mains.
It was the blue one spent many a weekend there, sad memory's now

Ive often though that if people are that bothered then why not just move to the coast and be done with it?
Lots are owned by people who do live by the coast, my mate lives in Bournemouth and has one on the seafront there. His Parents and Brothers Family all live there as well so use it too. Rents it out as well for additional income, win win.
