Dionne Warwick is bigging up her Christmas Album and, as usual, has a sly dig at Our National Treasure, Cilla Black (searches for Union Jack smiley).

Well, listen up, Dionne. Cilla's version of Anyone Who Had a Heart is way, way better than yours. It's got range, it's got passion, and it's got a voice. Yours sounds like it was recorded in a cardboard box. That's why nobody in this country listens to yours. In fact your version isn't even as good as Dusty Springfield's. And just to prove it, we're going to have a poll. And woe betide any CCer who votes for Dionne Warwick.

Nothing by Cilla Black will ever be good - ever, ever and forever.

Cilla's, a gnat's pube ahead of Dusty's but a looong way ahead of Warwick's and a billion miles ahead of Mr. M.O.R, VanDROSS. And Cilla always reminds me of my mum in that she looks like her but more posh-er.

Well, if I have to choose it would be Dusty's version, but frankly the tune is an overrated, overwrought funeral march, and should be left in the sixties where it belongs.

Chilla Black should have never been let out of the cloakroom in Cavern
The other bird singing it sounds like she doesn't even like the tune.
Luther Vandriver is trying to hard to have sex with it.

At least Dusty could sing, but she had much better tunes than that.

Sorry, but Dione's version is better than Cillas. End of!
