Strictly speaking, 'weft' is the transverse thread, so 'it' is unlikely to be so selective. I'd suggest using the rather more accurate term "stickyuppyness".

I have a friend who works there. PA to a couple of the higher bosses. She works long hours and is expected (or maybe chooses to be) to be on duty even when she's at home but she seems to like it and is very loyal to the place and them.

I aim to use Co-Op funerals at some point in my life... not quite sure when, though.
