The mass of the Earth has been increasing due to the continual bombardment of meteorites, mostly bits of nickle iron. However, humans have been attempting to redress the balance by sending up costly resources wrapped in gold.on the road said:

The days are a millionth of a second shorter since the Chile earthquake apparently, but nothing to lose sleep over. Just get up a millionth of a second earlier and you'll hardly notice the difference.
