Are mobility cars worth considering if you only do around 2,750 miles a year?

Is a Motability car something special? Or is this just a car paid for by the taxpayers ?

Presumably you mean motability and not a mobility scooter?

My EV is ex motability and it had done fewer than 2k miles in 3 years...great vfm for the taxpayer

I think there are a few companies that specialise in selling ex motability vehicles because they are generally low mileage and very well looked after

That was a while ago - but it makes sense

Another reason to not lease a Mobility scheme car. Those leasing their first Mobility scheme car and those who lease and are under 30 years old will have to have a black box fitted, so they can be watched every time they use their vehicle!

Given you get stopped by the police due to your suspicious behaviour I suspect it’s a good thing.😉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

My mum got a 2nd hand mobility scooter too, that was great vfm much cheaper than new.

I saw one for sale yesterday. I think it was pre-owned. Not a bad price, but if I fancy one, due to living in an 'upstairs' flat, I wouldn't have anywhere to leave it safely, or to charge the battery.
