No impulsive buying here. I tend to get most things off 'fleabay' now. I add to my basket, then add more, then decide for sometimes weeks if i really want it,do i need it etc. Then most things get removed, leaving me buying just a couple of my original intended buys. For example,i finally bought something last night that had been in my basket, being thought over since before Christmas.

Oh that reminds me I have some jeans in my basket.

Stuff:

Not impulsive here - purchases are carefully considered.

Very rare that we need to buy anything though as we have everything we need and it's just the occasional item replacement that is required.

Entertainment / R&R:

Very impulsive. We go out for meals or to the pub on impulse and likewise will book holidays and short breaks on a whim.

When I read the thread title my immediate thought was "no, I/we never buy on impulse"... but on reflection
1. I went into the shop to buy my Giant
road bike and came out with that
and a hard tail.
2. We took our tourer van to a site
on Anglesey. Been there less than
one hour and had bought a static.
3. Some years ago I went into a Volvo
dealership.....just to see the new C70.
Walked out as the proud owner of a
nice one in metallic red.

I I usually have to save up so buy things that are just mine. So plenty off time to decide. I don’t really want much if am honest. A new bike is top off list not that I need one.

You call that a bike? Pahh, kids stuff.
My first (and only) bike was a REAL beast.
A Frances Barnett 197cc. On a decent stretch I could get it up to 65mph.
You know that Dyson guy now makes a hairdryer that goes faster than that. :okay:
