Each to their own.If I was a young man and someone was giving me work on my doorstep I would jump at it.
It's a tax dodge and you know it. Wind your neck in calling other people greedy. If everybody paid their share of tax and it was fairly redistributed then maybe we wouldn't all have to work ourselves into the ground. He asked for cash on the first job he did they all want cash.
They all ask for cash and you can't blame them. It's a tax dodge and you know it. Wind your neck in calling other people greedy. If everybody paid their share of tax and it was fairly redistributed then maybe we wouldn't all have to work ourselves into the ground.
Thats a Owen Glyndyr flag you are showing I would expect you to agree. Each to their own.
If I was a young man, I would be going out on my days off and enjoying spending what I had earned doing my "normal" job.
In fact I still do that, even although I am no longer a young man. It's just that "enjoyment" has moved a little bit from pi55ing it up against a wall, to more sedate activities (sometimes it even involves a bicycle)
.
They all ask for cash and you can't blame them.

Because it started off as a post about Halfords wanting to do a full assessment of a bike before carrying out work on it.Why is this in General Cycling Discussions?
Enough of this back to ebikes🚴Yes you can. It's called greed and you apparently hate that.
Its not greedy to work 7days a week to get on and feed your family this country needs more workers not shirkers enough of this going back to ebikes .You certainly can blame them. Just as you can also blame those who work 7 days a week as being greedy., you can also blame those who will only take work outside the tax system as being greedy.
You have been complaining throughout this thread about people being "greedy", yet you have admitted to your own greed (proud of working 7 days a week), and now are saying you "can't blame them" when asking for cash is again just being greedy.
Well let's drift back to bikes.Because it started off as a post about Halfords wanting to do a full assessment of a bike before carrying out work on it.
It has since drifted rather into other territory.
Enough of this back to ebikes🚴
It is absolutlely greedy to work 7 days a week.Enough of this back to ebikes🚴

Tell it to the marines Alex 🤠It is absolutlely greedy to work 7 days a week.
It is not healthy for you or your family to do that. And that is why the government enacted the working time regulations, which require employed workers to have at least 1 day per week off.
Choosing to work 7 days a week to get more money at the expense of your quality of life is definitely greedy.
I can. Tax dodging is greedy and wrong, whether it's massive corporations or small tradespeople. And I wouldn't trust their work. If they're going to defraud HMRC then they'll have no qualms about defrauding me, and without a receipt, there's no comeback for shoddy workmanship. They all ask for cash and you can't blame them.
