Attaching Cleats

I've just purchased my first set of clipless pedals (Shimano A520 SPD Touring Pedals) and shoes (DHB R1's from wiggle), but when I try to fit the cleats supplied with the pedals the threads on the screws are too short.

Am I missing something here or do I just need longer screws? If so do you know where I can purchase these from please?

I've often had the same problem. Your LBS should have a supply, otherwise any DIY shop will have screws in various lengths.

I've got a bag of stainless ones that are 16mm long (as against the usual 12 - 13mm)
they have a 3mm socket though, not 4mm like the Shimano ones, so it's easy to rip up the heads getting them tight enough.
