You've been allowed to get away with this for too long.During the second World war the government were quick to implement special measures to try and make the country safer. It is time that the EU thought about doing the same thing.
The two situations are not remotely comparable, and to pretend they are is disrespectful to the memory of the dead of the war.
In the last 11 years since 7/7, fewer than 1,000 people have been killed by terrorism in the EU.
In the 6 years of WW2, tens of millions were killed, tens of thousands times as many.
The only special measures required are to reaffirm our commitment to the rule of law.
