Go for a comb over. Who cares what the fashionistas think.
Yes, #1 clipper cut is the way to go. I find that when it's that short it doesn't feel greasy.XmisterIS said:If you are a baldie too, what do you use on the top of your head to prevent sunburn? I have tried sun-block out of a bottle but that just makes the rest of the hair greasy ... I was thinking about one of those "no-mess" spray-on sun blocks. I don't like wearing a hat, it makes my head super-hot. It's even worse when I wear a helmet - I get stripes on my head!
You probably will develop a tan if you are scrupulous with high SPF cover i.e apply it so regularly that you never peel - if you do peel, you haven't used it enough. Anyway, there is nothing clever about getting tanned, it's just the first stage of skin damage.I don't tan by the way, I go straight from white to beetroot red and back to white again. I am one of those blue-eyed very fair skinned types who burns in the first glimmer of the sun's rays ...

Sunblock - Boots own brand, Soltan. Factor 50. Certainly don't waste your time with anything under SPF 30 on a bald head. I find one application lasts all day on the bike, with a Buff on top from say 11.00 to 14.00 depending where I am.
