In "The Big Lebowski", the title character is a ten pin bowling buff. At one point, attackers break in to his house to rough him and his place up; One of them picks up Lebowski's bowling ball and asks him, "what the f*ck is this?"
Lebowski's reply is... "Obviously, you're not a golfer".

Arguably the Coen brothers' best film.
