I have a rear tyre which causes a 'bump' in the area of the valve when it passes over the surface . I've tried changing the tyre and inner tube but the bump (more of a slight bulge) is still there. I've looked closely and it appears that the bead does not seem to fit into the rim around the valve. Could this be due to the wrong size inner tube or is it a wheel problem?

Have you tried pushing the valve up a little before locating the bead? Once the bead is located, then pull the valve back down.
