It must be around 1990 when I last had this, as a student at Lancashire Polytechnic we had a choice of mainly Thwaite's or Theakston's pubs, and this was always my favourite.

I also discovered this around the same time at uni. There was a Theakston’s pub 5 minutes’ walk from my hall of residence… which was (un)fortunate.

Just your average Italian beer, brewed in Leeds by guys from Harrogate. Somewhere between a pilsner, a Gose (lemon and sea salt) and a white stout....
