Just a gimmick to get sales - it isn't particularly nice. I don't know if there's been a change in brewing in the last few years but I'm finding a lot of the macro lagers to be pretty unpleasant to drink.

Had a few bottles of Lidl's Perlenbacher recently which were actually pretty decent considering the price!
